Movie Stuff: The spoiler-filled plots for Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy for fans who don’t want to see the movies!

Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace plot in a nutshell:
In the beginnings of a galaxy far, far away, the seeds of mistrust and the start of long plot lines begin. Jedi warriors Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi go to the planet Naboo to stop the greedy Trade Federation and battle battle droids, meet the extremely annoying Jar Jar Binks, and rescue Queen Padme Amidala. Then, the now kind of big group gets essentially stranded on the desert planet Tatooine, which will become VERY important later in the saga. Qui-Gon, Padme, and Binks meet Anakin Skywalker, a now obnoxious kid, who will later be the ”hero” of the galaxy. After a podrace, the group takes Anakin to the capital planet of the Republic Coruscant and he is turned down the right to enter the Jedi Order. Soon, they go back to Naboo and Binks’s species the Gungans battles the droid army, the Queen and her soldiers battle their way through the Royal Palace, and the two Jedi battle the Sith apprentice Darth Maul. Anakin takes down the Federation control ship by using his piloting skills, the Naboo capture the Trade Viceroy, the Gungans lose and then win when the droids are deactivated, and Qui-Gon dies. Obi-Wan battles Maul, he almost falls to his death, and then he slices Maul in half and sends him tumbling down a shaft. Obi-Wan then obeys Qui-Gon’s dying wish to train Anakin, and the Naboo and Gungans celebrate having peace on their planet. Wheee!
